Shipping & Refund Policy

Orders

All orders are processed within 1 to 5 business days (including weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. 

Shipping Policy 

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout


Free local delivery is available for orders over $150 within San Diego, California. For orders under $150, we charge $50 for local delivery.

We will contact you via text message with the phone number you provided at checkout to notify you on the day of our arrival.

You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at 7556 Charmant Dr, San Diego, CA, 92101. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 1 to 7 business days. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions. 

Our in-store pickup hours are 10:30 am - 10:30 pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification that will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

If you haven’t received your order within 7 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at dome@domedecor.net with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

​Return & Exchange Policy

We will accept an exchange or return if it's within 14 days of purchase. The product must be unused and in its original condition. Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. 
Please inspect your order upon arrival and contact us immediately if the item is defective, or damaged, or if you received the wrong item.

Candle Safety Policy

At our establishment, safety is paramount. We want to ensure that our customers enjoy the benefits of our candles while minimizing any potential risks. Below are comprehensive guidelines for the safe use of our candles:

  1. General Safety Measures:

    • Candles should be used solely for their intended purpose, which includes creating a pleasant ambiance and providing a soothing massage experience.

    • Prior to lighting any candle, carefully read and adhere to the instructions provided on the product label or packaging.

    • Always keep candles out of reach of children and pets. Ensure they are placed on stable surfaces to prevent accidental tipping.

    • Never leave a burning candle unattended. Extinguish all candles before leaving a room or going to sleep.

  2. Usage Recommendations:

    • Place candles on heat-resistant, level surfaces away from drafts, flammable materials, and sources of heat.

    • Do not burn candles near curtains, drapes, bedding, or any other combustible items.

    • Avoid placing candles in areas where they may be knocked over or come into contact with clothing, paper, or other flammable materials.

    • Exercise caution when burning candles in rooms with ceiling fans, as the airflow may affect the flame and increase the risk of accidents.

    • Ensure that candles are extinguished properly after each use. Use a candle snuffer or gently blow out the flame to prevent hot wax from splattering.

  3. Specific Guidelines for Massage Candles and Hand Care Candles:

    • Our massage candles and hand care candles are formulated for external use only. Avoid ingestion or contact with eyes and mucous membranes.

    • Before applying melted wax to the skin for massage, perform a patch test on a small area to check for any adverse reactions or sensitivities.

    • Exercise caution when handling and pouring melted wax to prevent burns. Allow the wax to cool slightly before use to avoid scalding the skin.

    • Do not pour hot wax directly onto the skin. Instead, allow it to cool to a comfortable temperature before applying it for massage.

    • Keep the wick trimmed to approximately 1/4 inch to promote even burning and reduce the risk of soot formation.

    • In accordance with safety standards, candles must not be used in close proximity to flammable, combustible, or explosive substances. Examples of such hazardous cosmetic products include, but are not limited to: Nail polish, Nail polish remover, Makeup remover, Hairspray, Perfumes containing alcohol, Spray-on sunscreen, Aerosol deodorants, Acetone-based nail polish removers, Hair dyes. Using candles near any of these substances poses a significant fire risk and should be avoided at all times.

  4. Disposal and Storage:

    • Once a candle has burned down and the wax has solidified, dispose of any remaining wax and the container responsibly.

    • Store candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources to prevent melting or deformation of the wax.

    • Do not store candles near volatile substances, such as gasoline or other flammable chemicals, to reduce the risk of fire hazards.
